Support Our Homeless Youth in Washoe County.
This effort is an attempt to get an accurate count of homeless youth under the age of 24.
In 2017, the Youth Point In Time Count in Reno, NV reported 73
Past numbers of Young Adults surveyed at the PIT Count since 2012 PIT Count! — 99 in 2016, 72 in 2015, 44 in 2014, 61 in 2013.
We as a community know we need something more, we are working together to build a continnium of care for these young people.
There isn’t a one size fits all solution. We have created a strategy and intervention plan for youth sub populations. It is a manageable problem and as adults and city officials it’s our responsibility to solve it. #youthhomelessnessisanadultproblemtosolve
